Lim Guan Eng
This is the consensus of three parties, that is Anwar. If it is  Pakatan Rakyat that wins, it is Anwar who will be prime minister,” DAP  secretary-general Lim Guan Engtold reporters at the Parliament lobby when asked to comment.

Asked about the proposal for the party with the most seats to get the prime minister’s post, Lim said that consensus among the PR parties was more important.

“But we think (the one) that can represent the whole of PR, the whole of Malaysia is Anwar…” Lim said, pointing out that his party  currently has the most seats, followed by PKR and PAS.

Karpal
DAP chairman Karpal Singh said the general consensus among Pakatan Rakyat leaders, including PAS, was that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahimwould be the prime minister if the coalition takes over the federal government.

“We cannot stop people at the PAS muktamar from making (other) suggestions,” he said.

“These are individual calls, and do not reflect the decision of the component parties’ leadership.”

Tian Chua

PKR vice-president Tian Chua agreed, dismissing talk of other Pakatan leaders assuming the role of prime minister as “a non-issue”.

It was, he said, just views of one or two members.

“Individual members are free to have their own views,” said Tian Chua

Sementara polemik siapa yang seharusnya menjadi Perdana Menteri jika Pakatan Rakyat (PR)  membentuk Kerajaan Pusat berterusan, bancian ‘online’ menunjukkan Datuk  Seri Anwar Ibrahim menjadi pilihan ramai.
